So – we’re having a photo shoot this afternoon and I’m freaking out, as usual. Photos are one of my forever enemies. I can look totally presentable in the mirror, but seconds later take a photo and all of my imperfections get magnified, with a bright shining light on every imperfection. This problem has ruined all kinds of group photos – and of course this problem of mine doesn’t seem to bother anyone else. How many horrible photos of me are there floating around in the universe?
There was a Friend’s episode that I totally related to – Chandler and Monica needed photos for the newspaper announcement of their engagement/wedding. Chandler cannot take a good photo to save his life, and his best friend Joey ends up taking the photo with Monica. Totally hilarious episode – maybe its so funny to me because I RELATE! I swear they wrote that entire episode based on my photo handicap.
So today, because its REALLY, REALLY important for Harbor Boulevard Music to have some decent and current photos, I’ve spent a fair amount of time collecting tips to get good photos. I thought I’d share here – JUST IN CASE there is anyone else who has this same dilemma. Read on…..
Apparently it’s all about the jaw. WOW! Who knew? (apparently everyone else who doesn’t have a problem being subject of photos…..)
